Hi, my name is Tania and I’m a cake maker and decorator based in Kingswood, Tadworth Surrey.


I’m also a wife, mother to a 2 and 5 year old, and an Australian now living in the UK. So yes my kitchen always has a stash of Haighs chocolate, milo and vegemite. And it’s also why I include recipes such as the Lamington cupcake :)


Baking is something I’ve always done.  As a child, I remember helping Grandma with some good old fashioned country baking on the farm in Australia.  From helping to stir a batch of Küchen, delivering a freshly baked potato cake to the sheep shearers or just enjoying a warm piece of cinnamon cake fresh out of grandma’s oven.  


Many years later and with a degree in Management Information Systems I found myself working in Project Management for a global company. Travelling the world and working with many diverse cultures has it’s perks but at some point in time you just crave your own home and not a hotel bed. However, I did enjoy it and it was how I met my husband.  But after moving to London and experiencing the joys of commuting to clients for over two hours each way and crammed platforms, I’d had quite enough.


It was time to get back into the kitchen. My choice not my husbands!


After completing some courses and online training I started Blissful Baking in 2014.


I started in a small kitchen in our flat in Kingston Upon Thames and have since moved to our new house with thankfully a much bigger kitchen in Kingswood.


Since then I've undertaken more training with Squires Kitchen and Dawn Welton Cake School. And I’ve had the pleasure of making cakes for various birthdays, weddings and other life events. I love it. I love creating cakes for peoples special occasions.


My journey of Blissful Baking continues...building my skills, exploring new recipes, creating new designs and bringing joy to clients who put faith in me to create that centrepiece for their special occasion.

my philosophy...

My philosophy at Blissful Baking is to use passion and attention to detail in creating quality homemade and bespoke cakes and cupcakes.  


Using the finest ingredients possible I make all products fresh in my home-based kitchen. From Neilsen- Massey vanilla bean paste to Lindt chocolate, fresh lemons and oranges from the local market and free range eggs.  I do my very best to add a special touch to the products and where possible like to use  homemade lemon curd and raspberry coulis to name a few. If you are going to indulge you have to make sure it’s worth it!


I'm also proud of being a boutique and bespoke business. We don’t need to be a high street chain to deliver quality products and be successful.
